Slack OAuth Integration
Connect Slack to your application without building and maintaining the OAuth flow.
Each user connects their own Slack workspace through your OAuth app. Pathfix manages the authorization flow, stores and refreshes their tokens, and authenticates the requests your application makes to the Slack Web API. What your app posts, reads or reacts to is defined by your code.

Create a Slack app in Slack's app settings
The app gives your application its own OAuth credentials.

Copy your Client ID and Client Secret
These belong to your Slack app. Pathfix uses them to run the OAuth flow as your application.

Choose your scopes
Add the scopes for the Web API methods you plan to call. Slack lists the required scopes on each method's documentation page.

Add the credentials in Pathfix
In your Pathfix account, add an application, select Slack from the providers and enter the Client ID and Client Secret.

Let your users authorize
Add the connect step to your app. Each user signs in to Slack and approves the scopes you requested.

Call the Slack API
Send requests through the Pathfix passthrough API using the provider reference
